Mahlon Reyes, ‘Deadliest Catch’ Star, Dies of Heart Attack

Mahlon Reyes, Deadliest Catch Reality TV show star, has passed away at 38 after suffering a heart attack.

According to TMZ, Heather Sullivan, Reyes‘s wife, broke the sad news in a statement.

She stated that the deceased gave up the ghost in the hospital after suffering a heart attack which he never recovered from.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s office while confirming his death, told E News that the reality star breathed his last on Monday, July 27 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Montana, adding that they are awaiting autopsy result to determine the “cause and manner” of his death.

Until his death, Mahlon Reyes had appeared as a deckhand on Disney Channel’s reality show Deadliest Catch since 2012.

Several celebrities including his co-star, Nick McGlashan, have taken to social media to mourn the reality star’s death.

“Love you Mahlonn m v you’re missed. RIP, ” McGlashan tweeted.

He also shared a picture of them together with the caption: “This place misses you. RIP Mahlon.”

“He touched so many lives and he is up there smiling and watching over my protector from the sky,” Sullivan wrote in a tributary Facebook post.

She went on to say that her husband has been cremated; and that his ashes will be spread by his co-stars on the reality show. The deceased is survived by his wife and their four children.
