Madrina Reignites Feud with Jude Okoye

DANCEHALL queen, Madrina (formerly Cynthia Morgan), has denied stating that her former label boss, Jude Okoye, took her social media accounts away from her.

Recall that eelive.ng had reported that Madrina narrated how she lost everything to the music executive, including her former stage name (Cynthia Morgan), her VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account, amongst other things due to the contract she signed.

Responding to Madrina’s allegations, Okoye in an interview with social media influencer, Tunde Ednut, admitted that he truly took over the singer’s VEVO account to recoup the N40 million he spent on her, but he has nothing to do with her stage name.

Hours after Okoye refuted the claims, the contract Madrina signed with Northside Music Inc. surfaced the internet, after which fans started dragging the singer for allegedly telling lies to gain public sympathy.

Addressing the ongoing trend, Madrina said she never stated that Okoye took away her social media accounts.

While maintaining that it was “only God that knows the truth on what is going on between her and her former label and management”, Madrina made known that she has moved on from all that transpired with them.

When asked if she’s willing to make peace, Madrina said she doesn’t have a problem with her former label boss, adding that she can never make peace with Joy Tongo, her former manager.

“I don’t have a problem with Okoye. Who I have a problem with is Tongo who makes things worse all the time. She happened to be the middle-man, but sadly, she was a bad one. Every time I came up with something I think my label can consider, she would always tell me Okoye wouldn’t like it. Thus, it wasn’t important,” Madrina stated.

For a couple of days now, a lot of claims have been making round on social media. While Madrina has been making efforts to put context into the ongoing controversy, her former label and management are claiming that the vocalist is a pathetic liar, who’s misleading the public for personal gains.

As someone who’s familiar with the matter, who do you think is telling the truth?
