DANCEHALL singer, Madrina formerly known as Cynthia Morgan, has opened up on her fallout with her former record label owner, Jude Okoye.

In an Instagram live chat with former Miss Globe Nigeria, Sandra Ogbebor, Madrina stated that she lost everything to the music executive, including her former stage name (Cynthia Morgan), her VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account, amongst other things due to the contract she signed.

Madrina further expressed how she had dirts on Okoye and how she would have won if she had pushed for justice, but said she decided at that time wasn’t necessary.

According to her, while she was battling her record label issue, depression crippled in, and she had to relocate to Benin State to save cost for treatment of an illness that almost took her life.

On why she didn’t open up at that time, Madrina said she wasn’t ready to talk as she believed it was a phase of life she would surmount.

During the live chat, she also admitted that some of her colleagues in the music industry reached out to her, but she didn’t say anything because it was all centered on work, which she wasn’t ready to get back to then.

The singer who disclosed that she doesn’t want to sign under a label anymore said she is now open to partnership, and hoping to stage a comeback.
