One of the most streamed artistes in Africa, Wizkid has hit 100 million streams on Apple Music with his latest album Made In Lagos.
The album, which he released on October 30, 2020, is now second only to his 2017 major label debut, Sounds From the Other Side; which surpasses Made In Lagos with about 10 million streams.
Both albums performed a lot better than Wizkid’s first three; with Superstar having 18, 583, 677, Soundman Vol. 1 having 24, 342, 667 streams, Ayo having 35, 373, 936.

The most impressive part is that Wizkid reached this feat in just 103 days; whereas his fourth album has been out for years. That said, Made In Lagos is projected to be far more successful stream-wise than the others.

Since release, Wizkid has released two additional videos to Smile, which was a promotional single for the album. Currently, he’s working on the visuals for Essence which features fellow Sony act, Tems.
