Lupita reaffirms this claim once again last Thursday at the London premiere of her upcoming movie, “Us” when she wore red contact lenses and red blush to match.
In addition to that shock of red on her face, Nyong’o who wore a $1,723 plaid Attico dress, also had glowing highlighter, smoky eye shadow and a deep burgundy lip stain.
Her look was inspired by the “wicked beauty ideas from fierce women in ‘80s music videos”.
The professional makeup artist responsible for creating the daring look, Nick Barose, said “We wanted to avoid pretty red carpet looks and be more experimental”. So they worked to come up with a look that was both strong and powerful.
