Nigerian recording artiste, Ololade Ahmed who is better known as Asake has confirmed that his 3rd studio album, Lungu Boy will be released on Friday, August 9.
The singer-songwriter made the announcement via his various social media platforms on Monday, August 5.
It would be important to note that this would be Asake’s third consecutive album in three years. Since his mainstream debut in 2022 with Mr Money With The Vibe, Asake followed it up with Work of Art in 2023 to further propound his impeccable catalogue.

The 29-year-old singer-songwriter’s coming studio album would feature notable artistes such as Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid. Other artistes on the project are British rapper, Central Cee who featured on the album’s lead single, ‘Wave‘. Another British rapper, Stormzy would also appear on the project, American rapper, Travis Scott and Brazilian artiste, Ludmilla are the other artistes who will feature on the music project.
Asake who is signed to Olamide Baddo‘s record label, Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) has remained one of the most consistent artistes in the Nigerian entertainment industry in the last three years.
