Nigerian Comic actor, Imeh Bishop, better known as Okon Lagos, has described the death of his mother as a painful one.

As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Okon Lagos announced the demise of his mother through his social media page on Saturday.

The actor, taking to Instagram page on Tuesday, said battling with his mother’s death has been hard and tough for him.

He then thanked everyone for their calls, messages and prayers during this trying time.

He said, “Losing a loved one to death, especially a mother, is very painful. It’s been a very hard and tough time for me, but I thank God for God and thank God for you.

“Your calls, messages, and prayers are helping in taking baby steps and strides to healing. Thank you and God bless you all. Thank you, and please don’t stop praying for us.”

In September, the actor celebrated his newly built mansion.

Sharing series of pictures of the newly built mansion via his Instagram page, he described his new property as a “little Rome”.

Bishop said “Guys, some time ago, I thought it good to build me a small house, but big enough for a little more than two (@mrs_imebishop and I ). I’m done and this is it!

“Be steady on your grind but pls try and make it legit. Work hard as if no amount of prayer can help and pray hard as if no amount of hard work can help.”

“Don’t get drowned by social pressure. Appearance is not reality. Take your time, pick your shots, make smart decisions. Life is a marathon and not a sprint. Be careful how you make haste towards attaining success. Yes, apply speed but know the limits. Speed kills!

“This our “little Rome” was sure not built in a day! In all, God is faithful. YHWH is the greatest! He alone drives away flies from the tailless cow! Happy New Month from all of us here at the Republic,” Bishop added.
