What was meant to be a joyous celebration for popular Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin reportedly turned into an unexpected disgrace after gospel musician, Tope Alabi who was billed to perform at the actress’ ceremony refused to, upon getting to the event centre.
EElive reports that the controversial actress’ husband Lateef Anjorin, had allegedly made arrangements for the popular singer to perform at his wife’s birthday party. However, upon arrival, Tope Alabi refused to leave her vehicle when she discovered the performance was for Lizzy Anjorin.
She promptly returned the payment for the surprise appearance and drove away.
It was speculated that the gospel singer’s decision not to perform at Anjorin’s birthday party stemmed from the need to maintaining her brand image due to the controversies linked to Lizzy Anjorin as she’s known to be a fracas blogger who is always cursing innocent people on social media.

Additionally, some sources indicate that Tope Alabi was displeased with the caliber of people at the event, noting the absence of fellow celebrities and expressing reluctance to be seen with the likes of Iya Alagbo, Iya Oniru, and Iya Oni Paraga gathering….
