Literary Journal, The Lagos Review Launches In Lagos

A new literary journal, The Lagos Review has been launched in Lagos on September 1, 2019.

The Lagos Review which was founded by poet and medical doctor Dami Ajayi and Toni Kan; editor and writer promises mouth watery reviews spanning across various field of arts (music, prose and poetry). Dami Ajayi is not green to this field as the co-founder of Saraba Magazine in partnership with Emmanuel Iduma. Toni Kan is also the co-founder Sabinews with Peju Akande. We are assured of the quality of this new journal, going by the antecedents of its founders.

The journal which will be published weekly will make token payments for all submissions. Its first publication, features interviews with South African Journalist and writer, Zukiswa Wanner, review of Beautiful Nubia’s “All Bright and Beautiful,” review of Limbe to Lagos (a collection of nonfiction stories from African writers), review of Chika Unigwe’s “Better Never Than Late,” amongst others.
