The classic man is back! Ahead of the release of his album, Jidenna drops a taste of his new style with two new singles – “Tribe” and “Sufi Woman”.
In “Tribe”, Jidenna sings about friends turned family over a hip-hop beat. He also points out that everybody needs a tribe at some point in their lives. “Tribe” has all the makings of hit.
The second single, “Sufi Woman”, on the other hand is a highlife spiced track with a vibrant beat. Jidenna sings about being under a spell, cast by a Sufinist.
Overall, both tracks demonstrate a dexterity to Jidenna’s vocal skills that otherwise might have gone unnoticed. His upcoming album is definitely going to be something big.
