Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour, has released Flavour of Africa, his much-awaited album.
The 16-track body of work features Fally Ipupa, Tekno, Odumeje, Larry Gaaga, Waga G, Beenie Man and Biggie Igba.
The singer’s self-titled album follows the success of his 2018 album Awele including his 2019 joint EP with Chidinma.
It also comes after his last five albums including Ijele the Traveler (2017), Thankful (2014), Blessed (2012), Uplifted (2010), and Nabania, Flavour’s debut album which was released back in 2005.
Songs on his new album includes, Good Woman, Flavour of Africa, Looking Nyash, and Doings among others.
Speaking after the release of his fifth album, the 36-year-old singer had said: “As a musician, I’ve transformed, evolved, and transcended within my music and social responsibilities.
“I am proud to share this journey with my fans and listeners far and wide. Music is in my blood, it’s all I know.”
Flavour and rapper Phyno, made the headlines in October after they alleged that their lives were being threatened over their involvement in the #EndSARS protest.
The two artistes, had led the protest against the operatives of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) in Enugu.
