The world was saddened yesterday with news of the death of Jarad Anthony Higgins, the Chicago-born rapper and singer known as Juice WRLD. The friends, collaborators, and admirers pay tribute to Juice WRLD, who died at the age of 21.
Known for his Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 single “Lucid Dreams,” Juice WRLD also released the No. 1 album Death Race From Love earlier this year.
TMZ first reported the tragic news, adding that the seizure took place at Chicago’s Midway Airport early on Sunday morning after the rapper’s flight landed from California.
Fans and celebrities alike have turned to social media to mourn the loss of the rapper, who was reportedly working on his third studio album prior to his untimely death.
Ellie Goulding, who collaborated with Juice WRLD on their song “Hate Me,” tweeted: “I can’t believe it… you were such a sweet soul. I’ll always remember meeting you and your family on the video set and thinking how close you were. You had so much further to go, you were just getting started. You’ll be missed Juice.”
