Ahead of the 61st Grammy awards scheduled to hold on Sunday, February 10, more names have been added to the list of artistes that will perform at the evening’s ceremony.
First on the list is the duo sisters Chloe and Halle (Chloe x Halle). This week, the Grown-ish singers wowed thousands of football lovers with their rendition of America the Beautiful at the Superbowl. Nominated twice this year, the Beyoncé protégés secured nominations in the Best New Act and Best Urban Contemporary Album for their debut effort The Kids Are Alright.
Shallow singer Lady Gaga who has had a great year clinching the Golden Globe for Best Original song is also billed to perform this weekend. Also, one time Grammy winner St. Vincent, Best New Act nominee Dua Lipa, and and five-time Grammy winner Mark Ronson will take to the stage, all four acts have secured at least a nomination this year.
Fresh off his Superbowl collaboration with Maroon 5, rapper Travis Scott rounds off the list of new additions. Scott whose Astroworld album peaked on the Billboard 100 last year is nominated in three categories: Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album.
The 2019 Grammy will return to the Staples center in its traditional host city of Los Angeles, California following last years edition that was held in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
