Kylie Jenner topped Forbes’ list of the year’s highest-paid celebrities, based on earnings from June 2019 through May 2020. After naming her a billionaire and then stripping her of that title, Forbes has named Kylie Jenner the highest earner on the list.
Jenner earned $590 million, largely due to the sale of her lucrative Kylie Cosmetics line to Coty, while her brother-in-law, Kanye West, raked in $170 million in large part due to his Yeezy clothing and sneaker deal with Adidas.
Athletes Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi nabbed the third, fourth and fifth spots, while Tyler Perry came in sixth, earning $97 million for his Madea film franchise. Last year, Perry opened the 330-acre Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
Some on this year’s list also made history. Tennis star Naomi Osaka brought in $37 million, the most any female athlete has ever made in a single year, according to Forbes, making the list at No. 90.
