Actor Kunle Afolayan‘s much-awaited sex-for-grades movie, Citation will premier exclusively on streaming platform Netflix.
Come Tuesday, November 6, 2020, the movie which exposed sexual-based crimes in universities, will be available for viewers on Netflix.
“The highly anticipated @kunleafolayan film, Citation, launches globally on November 6, exclusively on Netflix. The film stars @haitianhero, @gabbylucciii, Ini Edo, @jokesilva, @adjeteygh, and introduces newcomer @TemiOtedola!” the streaming platform announced.
The cast members of the star-studded movie, however, includes –Temi Otedola, Joke Silva, Ibukun Awosika, Seun Kuti, Gabriel Afolayan, and Sadiq Daba.
Citation, which according to Afolayan, was gunning for August 2020 release, could no longer be released due to the raging COVID-19.
Admitting that COVID-19 affected the project, he said, “As luck will have it, we managed to complete the shoot before the COVID-19 lockdown started. We filmed from early January till sometime in February, and we have even started post-production before this whole pandemic thing started. Sadly, we couldn’t follow our planned schedule.”
Meanwhile, the movie currently available for a private screening for interested corporate organisations and Non-governmental Organisations (NGO).
