Kizz Daniel, Nigerian singer, has signed a deal with Empire Distribution, records and publishing company in the United States.
Announcing the good news Empire tweeted with their official account on Thursday.
“Welcome to the Empire family @iamkissdaniel,” the company wrote in the post accompanied by a picture of the singer and the Nigerian flag.
Empire Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc. is an American distribution company and record label; which Ghazi Shami established in 2010. The headquarters are in San Francisco, California with offices in New York City, London, and Atlanta. The label boasts of big names like Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar, the late Xxxtentacion.
In February, Olamide Adedeji, Nigerian rapper and record label boss, sealed a joint venture deal with the company.
Peter Okoye, of the defunct Psquare, had also signed a deal with the American company in 2017.
This deal will see Empire handle publishing and distribution for the King of Love album.
Th album is set to be released on the 25th of June, 2020 and will be available worldwide on all music platforms.
In 2013, Daniel signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment but left the label following a publicized contract dispute and court case.
Kizz Daniel would later establish, Fly Boy Inc, his own record label, in November 2017. The singer is best known for Woju and Yeba, his two hit singles.
