Kemi Adetiba, the producer of King of Boys, has announced that Nollywood veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), will be a cast member of the sequel of the award-winning political thriller.
Adetiba made this disclosure via her Instagram page.
Prior to this development, actress Nse Ikpe-Etim announced that she will be joining other cast members of King of Boys.
The movie, produced by Adetiba, however, won big at the 15th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
For her role as Alhaja Eniola Salami in the blockbuster, Sobowale was crowned Africa’s best actress.
Similarly, Etomi-Wellington emerged the best actress in a Supporting Role category, due to her brilliant acting in the movie.
Adetiba was also rewarded with an award when the film was adjudged the best Nigerian film.
With nine nominations and three awards, King of Boys was the Nigerian film with the highest number of awards at the 2019 AMAA.
