Kida Kudz, seems to have gotten his footing since the success of his 2017 released single, ‘Issa Vibe’, which also had Burna Boy on the more recent release alongside UK rapper, Geko.
He has since followed with a number of solid tracks, which have somewhat redefined him, as he figures out the style that works for him. Clearly, his momentum won’t be slowing down in the nearest future, as he hints of a possible collaboration with Grammy-Award winning DJ, Diplo, a huge deal for his career.
In an interview with MTV, Kida Kudz gave some heads-up on what he has coming and what to expect from him in the nearest future. The rapper shared: “After ‘Snack’ came out, loads of people were looking for me, and I’ve got stuff with Octavian, Chipmunk. I even have stuff with Diplo coming.”
This exciting revelation comes just a month after the Diplo teased a collaboration with singer-songwriter, Simi. It looks like the Grammy-winning producer is doubling down on his love for Nigerian artists, and we can’t wait to hear all the gems that he creates because of it.
Since attending Gidi Fest in 2017, Diplo has maintained close relationships with some Nigerian artists, collaborating with the likes of Mr Eazi, Kizz Daniel and more.
