Nigerian kid Djs celebrated children’s day with Serenade with BossLady, a radio/Instagram programme designed by Temitope Duker.
On this special edition, tagged “Celebrating Child Achievers in Nigeria,” Serenade with BossLady interviewed four kid superstars- DJ Young Money, Etochi Ejike Asiegbu, Egypt ify Ufele and DJ Shyne.
The programme is geared at celebrating and felicitating with loved ones on their special moments, including birthdays, anniversaries and promotions.
It started as a request show and later metamorphosed into a big platform. The programme has drawn the presence of top personalities in the world of fashion, music and film, having the likes of Mercy Aigbe, Monalisa Chinda, Olutayo Amokade (Ijebu), Ninalowo Omobolanle, Prince Jide Kosoko, Ada Ameh, Offiong Edem, Botaken concepts, Efua Olumide, Niyola, and many others.
Meet the kid superstars
Solomon Emmanuel Bassey, popularly known as DJ Young Money, is a super kid DJ from Akwa Ibom State; based in Lagos. He took after his father DJ Emmy Black in the disk jockey business at the age of 4.
The 13-year-old entertainer is currently known as the youngest DJ in West Africa and has received so many accolades, for his achievements at a tender age. He attributed his motivation and fame to God having met top artists in the entertainment industry, including Davido, Olamide, Don jazzy, AY the comedian, DJ Jimmy Jatt and many more.
His vision is to become one of the best DJs in the world and to open a music school for young people.
Egypt ify Ufele is a fashion designer, motivational speaker and also UN junior ambassador for peace. Born in the U.S, Ufele overcame bullying and body shaming at a tender age. It motivated her to start an organisation called Bullychasers. Due to her outstanding achievement, Ufele now has so many awards to her credit.
Etochi Ejike Asiegbu is a teen actor and the last son of veteran actor Ejike Asiegbu. Ejike started his acting at age 5 and has won notable awards in the Nigerian film industry.
DJ Shyne is a 12 year old Delta State born Nigerian based in Calabar. He started his DJ craft at the age of 8. He has performed at various reputable concerts for notable Nigerians including the former governor of cross river state, Donald Duke and Calabar carnival amongst others.
In addition to celebrating people on special moments, Serenade with BossLady also engages radio audience; and Instagram viewers with the success stories of great achievers from different works of life. It also creates an atmosphere that motivates and inspires individuals in achieving dreams and visions.
