Kid Cudi speaks on fall out with Kanye West

American rapper, Scott Mescudi, popularly known as Kid Cudi has finally spoken on his fall out with fellow rapper Kanye West, legally known as Ye.

He shared on Twitter that his collaboration for Pusha T’s upcoming album It’s Almost Dry will be his final song with Ye. He tweeted.

“Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye.”

This is coming weeks after Kanye called him out on social media for remaining friends with Pete Davidson, who is now dating the Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Ye shared a 2019 photo of himself with Pete, Timothée Chalamet and Cudi at Cudi’s birthday dinner at Nobu in Februar. He placed a big red X over the Saturday Night Live star’s face and called his GOOD Music record label signee for remaining friends with Pete after he started dating Kim.  He captioned the post, “I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK. THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER.”

In another post, Ye said that he would be removing Cudi from his  Donda 2 album. He wrote, “JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS CUDI WILL NOT BE ON DONDA BECAUSE HE’S FRIENDS WITH YOU KNOW WHO.”

In response, Cudi commented, “Too bad I don’t wanna be on your album you f–king dinosaur hahaha. Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about your albums since I met you. [I will] pray [for you] brother.”

He also tweeted that Ye was “whack for flipping the script and posting this lie. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”
