American actor and comedian, Kevin Hart has beaten fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld to become the highest-paid stand-up comedian of 2019.
According to the recently released Forbes list, Hart earned $59 million between June 1, 2018, and June 1 of this year.
This new ranking is coming after an earlier challenge Hart faced when he had to step down as the host of the last year’s Academy Award.
Hart now holds lucrative sponsorships with Mountain Dew, Chase and other brands, completed a world tour in January, and released a new Netflix special, “Irresponsible”, in April.
Jerry Seinfeld who made $41 in the past year sits on the number 2 spot. while Jim Gaffigan earned $30 to take the third spot.
New to the list is The Daily Show host Trevor Noah, who comes in at number 4 with $28 million.
Amy Schumer made $21m last year, taking the number 7 spot and making her the only woman on the top ten list.
