A couple of days ago, an interview session featuring Nigerian-born British politician, Kemi Badenoch aired on social media.

In the interview session, Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the United Kingdom (UK), Conservative Party, made a statement alleged to defame and deride Nigeria’s image.

According to Badenoch, her upbringing in Nigeria was predominantly overshadowed by fear, insecurity and police brutality in a country that is plagued by bribery and corruption.

Following her remark during the session, netizens especially Nigerians have taken to the social media platform, X to disclose how the Nigerian police have either physically assaulted them or extorted them.
