Kanye West, an American billionaire rapper, has revealed that he’s been trying to divorce his wife, Kim Kardashian, for a year now.
In a bizarre divorce rant on Twitter which has been deleted, the 43-year-old said since his wife met with fellow rapper Meek Mill at Waldorf, a hotel in New York, his six-year marriage no longer matter to him.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Waldorf for prison reform,” he wrote.
Eelive.ng had reported that West accused Kardashian of making unwarranted efforts to lock him up.
The rapper’s recent outbursts, which have generated wild reactions from fans, however, indicated that the celebrity couple may soon be heading for a divorce.
West and Kardashian who got married in 2014, have reportedly been living apart for months due to frequent disagreement during the COVID-19 lockdown.
A source close to the couple told The Sun that the couple decided to live at the opposite ends of their Los Angeles compound following series of altercations that couldn’t be resolved.
“Since lockdown, they’ve had daily bust-ups over literally everything. But mainly about the kids, their future, and the different directions they’re going in,” the source was quoted as saying.
