Canadian singer, Justin Bieber was recently on The Elen Show for the special birthday edition and the 25-year-old talked about a number of issues. From his relationship with his wife Hailey Baldwin, to his new single, Yummy, Justin Bieber opened up to host Ellen.
Asked about how he felt proposing to his now-wife, 23-year-old Hailey, he admitted that he struggled with the idea of commitment and faithfulness before proposing.
Known for his playboy ways before changing his life as he grew deeper in his Christian faith, the singer shuffled between Hailey and fellow singer Selena Gomez.
Speaking about marrying Hailey, he said:
“I was extremely nervous. I felt like in the past, we had talked about you know, me asking the question, and I felt like she would say “yes,” he began.
So I wasn’t really nervous about the saying, yes. But I think I was more nervous about “Am I gonna make this commitment?” Am I able to make this commitment as a man and be able to honor you know, what I say, you know because that’s a serious commitment. When you say you’re gonna love someone for better or for worse and like, be faithful.
That’s huge. Am I able to do that? And so I think that was really what I was battling with. And I finally was like, “You know what? I’m gonna make the decision and follow through with it. Be a husband, and you know, this is what I’ve always wanted. I’m gonna just choose this woman and just do it.”‘

Justin Bieber met his wife Hailey met through her father, Stephen Baldwin, brother of actor Alec Baldwin. The couple first married in secret at a courthouse in New York last year and then wed in a church ceremony in South Carolina on September 30, 2019.
Bieber is set for an album release “Changes” that will be his first since his 2016 “Purpose”. The album is set for a Valentine’s Day release. His tour, which will see him joined by Jaden Smith and Kehlani, will begin in May and conclude in September.
