CANADIAN singer and songwriter, Justin Bieber has threatened to take legal action against Danielle, a lady who accused the singer of sexual abuse.
Danielle had on Saturday, June 20, 2020, took to social media, to narrate how the sexual abuse happened.
According to her, the incident took place on March 9, 2014, at Four Seasons hotel in Texas, which coincide with the South by Southwest festival, where the singer had made an appearance that year.
“My friends and I were enjoying ourselves the entire night,” Danielle said in her post. “A man then approached me and my friends and asked us if we wanted to meet Justin. Of course, we said yes.”
Danielle said Bieber asked her and her group to go back to his room at the Four Seasons, adding that was 21-years-old at the time while Bieber was one year younger at 20.
“Justin had made me agree to not say anything to anyone, or I can get in serious legal trouble,” Danielle said. “He then asked me to join him in bed. That’s when I asked myself, “How in the world is this normal?”‘
Danielle said that she agreed to kiss him but aimed to avoid ‘going too far’ sexually with Bieber: “My body felt unconscious. I don’t want to go into detail about what happened next.”
Refuting Danielle’s sexual abuse accusation, the Sorry singer shared emails and receipts. He claimed these were evidence that he was not at the location his accuser claimed he was.
While Bieber admitted that he was in town that week to perform, he said he stayed at an Airbnb, then a Westin, during his trip. There, his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez joined him.
“Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly,” Bieber tweeted. “I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement.”
According to the singer, he never had a room at the Four Seasons. Bieber said he stayed with Gomez at an AirBnB on March 9 and moved to a Westin on March 10
Bieber posted confirmation emails and a hotel check-out slip under the name Mike Lowery; which he claimed is a now-former alias.
The music star alleged that he has also “confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on the property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or the 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted.”
‘’Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action,” he added.
