CANADIAN singer and songwriter, Justin Bieber has filed a $20 million lawsuit against two women whom he said falsely accused him of sexual assault.
TMZ reports that the 26-year-old singer is suing both women $10 million each over what he called malicious claims.
In the suit, Bieber claimed that the women “fraudulently schemed to seek attention and fame by maliciously posting despicable; blatantly false, fabricated, defamatory accusations that Justin Bieber engaged in sexual assault.”
Eelive.ng had reported that a lady identified as Danielle, took to social media on Saturday, June 20, 2020; narrating how the Sorry singer abused her sexually.
According to her, the incident took place on March 9, 2014, at Four Seasons hotel in Texas. This coincides with the South by Southwest festival, where the singer had made an appearance that year.
Like Danielle, another lady, Kadi claimed Bieber sexually assaulted her at the Langham Hotel in New York City, around 2:30 AM on May 5, 2015.
Hailey Baldwin, Bieber’s wife, along with his friends and management team, vouched for the singer’s character; saying he would never do such things. Ironically, the only person who was able to provide alibi for Bieber was his estranged ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Gomez revealed that on the dates that the alleged sexual assault took place, she and Bieber were together.
