Music executive, Jude Okoye, has recovered from COVID-19.
Jude who didn’t disclose when he contracted the viral disease took his fans by surprise when he gave his health update. He described his battle with the disease as “hell”.
In a terse post, he wrote on Instagram: “Been through hell. Face of COVID-19 survivor. #staysafe #wearamask #socialdistance.”
This further stretches the list of Nigerian celebrities who have tested positive to the virus. Paul Okoye, his brother better known as Rudeboy, also announced on the same day that he has recovered from COVID-19 after battling with the disease for 11 days.
Ace comedian Ali Baba had also recounted his experience with the disease, calling those who doubt its existence “fools”.
“The second wave of COVID-19 is deadlier than the one before. People are dying — pastors, doctors, professors, billionaires, poor men, less privileged. People are dying every day. Those numbers you see aren’t fake” he had said.
