Jonas Brothers Postpone ‘Blood’ Memoir Indefinitely

The Jonas Brothers, an American pop rock band have pushed back the release of their upcoming memoir once again. The trio is postponing the release of their book to work on it some more; but did not share a new release date just yet.

In a statement posted to their official Twitter, Jonas Brothers wrote:

“It’s important to us that our memoir ‘BLOOD’ is perfect and that we share it when the time is right. Because of that, we’re taking some extra time to write our story. We’ll update everyone shortly once we have more info.”

When the trio first announced their memoir Blood back in May 2019; they revealed that the book was set to be released on November 12th. But, in February 2020, they announced a rescheduled release of the book for October.

Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas co-wrote Blood with Neil Strauss (co-writer of Mötley Crüe‘s The Dirt & creator/host of the “To Live and Die in LA” podcast). The book takes fans through the band’s very beginnings and rise to pop stardom, their 2013 breakup, as well as their recent reunion, including the release of their Happiness Begins album. In a statement, the band explained of their book:

“We’re three brothers from New Jersey, and we were not supposed to be successful. From record labels dropping us to our dad losing his job over us, this shouldn’t have happened or lasted as long as it did. Yet here we are, more excited than ever, and we’re so grateful and ready to tell the full story of the journey we’ve had as individuals, as artistes, and as family.”
