John Cena to officially retire from WWE in 2025

Sixteen times world wrestling champion, John Cena has mentioned that he will officially be retiring from professional wrestling in 2025.

John Cena who is one of the most popular wrestlers in the last two decades made this announcement during the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) main event, Summerslam that took place on Saturday, July 6.

Cena disclosed that the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas would be his last.

He added that he wants to be involved when Raw moves to Netflix in January.

Cena made his WWE debut in 2002. However, since 2018, he has adopted a more part-time role in the company to focus on his movie career.
