Nigerian actor and politician, Yul Edochie has advised Nigerians against leaving the country. Edochie who is also a film director believes that all hope is not lost for the country. In a tweet posted yesterday, Edochie said he will not run from his ‘fatherland’ and has no ‘plan B’.
This is coming following a viral video of a popular Nigerian pastor, Paul Adefaransin encouraging Nigerians to get a ‘Plan B’. In the video, the senior pastor of House on the Rock Church said, “If you don’t have a plan B, I know you have faith, but I have faith too, but I have a plan B.”
“And with technology, I can speak to you from anywhere in the world. Get yourself a plan B, whether that is an Okada to Cameroon or flying boat or speed boat as we call them to Seme border or a hole in the ground, a bunker, get a Plan B because these people are crazy, they are nutters. The whole bunch of them.”
The comments comes following the growing state of insecurity of the country. The comment was met with mixed reactions from Nigerians. Some agreed with him while others questioned his faith and called him ‘unpatriotic’.
