Shortly after dropping his new song, Survive, which features popular rapper Olamide, Jaido P released the accompanying music video.
Directed by TG Omori, the poetic video plays out a tragedy that results in his lover getting hurt. YBNL boss Olamide’s verse adds a different melody to the song. The song gives off a mellow vibe, contrary to previous songs by the artist, and offers conscious lyrics for fans to reminisce on.
In the video, the two artists are seen relaxing in what looks like a greenhouse that has been converted into a room. The video later crosses into a club, adding a new interesting twist to the story.
Survive is a track off Jaido P’s forthcoming extended play project. The EP will launch in August this year.
Olamide also teased the new song on social media.
Nigerian music singer and songwriter Jaido P is slowly but surely rising through the ranks to join other sensational music stars in Nigeria.
This new single follows the previous hit song, Tesinapot, which also features Olamide. The song, produced by Cracker Mallo, comes off the 999 EP. This is the third time the two artists will collaborate on a track.
