I’m Retiring from Music — Keyshia Cole

American RnB super-star, Keyshia Cole says she’s retiring from music.

Despite releasing a number of chart-topping albums and singles, the Grammy-nominated singer announced her retirement from music on Twitter.

She brought this revelation to light while responding to a fan who reminded her to “stay focused” following the success of her new single and Verzuz battle with Ashanti last January.

“I’m retiring…” the Heaven Sent crooner wrote.

Since Keyshia Cole, 39, made the announcement, her fans have been tweeting in large numbers asking why she’s quitting music when her recently released single I Don’t Want to Be in Love is enjoying massive airplay.

In 20014, Cole released her debut single Never and dropped her debut album The Way It Is in the following year. Her poignant songs about relationship trials and tribulations have propelled the three-time platinum-selling artiste to the top of the charts.

Her hit singles and albums include, Let It Go (2007), I Remember (2008), Heaven Sent,  A Different Me (2008), and Point of No Return (2014). Cole’s latest studio album was 2017’s 11:11 Reset which featured Young Thug, DJ Khaled, French Montana and Remy Ma amongst others.
