Wunmi Praise, mother of a Nigerian journalist has called out popular singer, Davido for assaulting her son after a viral alleged video footage surfaced which sparked controversies on Instagram.
About a week ago, the Nigerian Journalist identified on Instagram as ‘JAONTHESTREETZ’, shared a video accusing the singer of assaulting him at the airport.
He alleged that he met the singer at the airport and was so excited to take a selfie with him. But the Risky crooner slapped him hard on the chest.
Davido later explained what happened, he said:
“I was trynna hug u bro but u moved away fast so it looked like I was slapping your chest…Love you bro.”
It seemed like the singer and the Journalist had put all behind or so we thought, when the Journalist replied:
“If you like break my head, i still dey with you.”
However, Mrs Praise, gospel artiste, who identifies herself as a spiritual daughter to Bishop David Oyedepo and a human rights activist says she will never forgive the singer for disgracing her son.
She advised Davido to learn from singers like Wizkid, Kiss Daniel, Tekno, Ay, Okey Bakassi and others who portray good character,
According to Praise, “Davido is too small” and she’s wondering why he would “have the guts to box” her son in public.
“Just for someone to snap a selfie with you, you have now become a boxer in the public,” she said.
She recommended Bishop Oyedepo’s books to the musician, whom she says is too arrogant and pompous, so he can learn how to manage fame and prosperity.
It wasn’t all in the negative as the woman saw something good in Davido: “I can only cherish your hard work but you’re too stubborn.”
