“I need to get closer to God”- Fireboy

Nigerian singer, Fireboy whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan has mentioned that he needs to get closer to God.

The Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) artiste spoke about fixing his relationship with God on Sunday via his X page.

Fireboy declared that he needed to have a closer relationship with God.

Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. In 2018, he signed a record deal with YBNL Nation, a record label founded by rapper Olamide. His debut studio album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps, was released in 2019.

Fireboy’s recent statement comes after his former YBNL colleague Asake departed from the Olamide Baddo-owned record label earlier in the year. The singer-songwriter has gone on to form his own label, Giran Republic.
