POPULAR musician, May D has slammed MMMG’s boss, Ubi Franklin, after cancelling his scheduled interview with the latter.
Franklin had taken to social media to disclose that his scheduled interview with May D, on his Talks With Ubi Franklin show would no longer hold as planned.
He wrote; “The Interview with @MisterMayD Has been cancelled. From a WhatsApp message sent to me a few minutes ago, he said his management Declined the interview after we both agreed. So we won’t be having the May D interview.”
After the music executive disclosed that May D sent a message to him via WhatsApp to inform him that his management advised him not to go ahead with the interview, the Gat Me High singer took to Twitter to react to the development.
May D, who recently accused the now-defunct Psquare music group of not being mindful of his musical career while he was with them, said he deliberately cancelled the interview because he is aware that Franklin never liked him.
“Because I know you are on judes side, I know u dont like me bro! F**k dat,” he tweeted.
The singer’s decision to call-off the interview with Franklin, came on the heels of the interview Psquare’s manager and brother, Jude Okoye, had with the MMMG boss.
During the interview, Okoye narrated how he turned down May D when he came to his house to beg him for a record label deal last year (2019).
As at the time of filing this report, May D was yet to refute Okoye’s claim. His muteness on the disclosed plea is however leaving many people with the belief that Okoye might be telling the truth. What’s your take on that?
