Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy, has openly debunked rumours flying around about “all entertainers” being unserious in their financial commitment towards their employees.
This is coming after popular Nigerian music star, Ycee, took to social media to “leak the little secret” of his former label boss, saying he does not pay his artistes and allegedly clutches all the profit to himself.
Since this shocking revelation was made, fans and music lovers have criticized entertainers and label bosses, saying they are all the same everywhere.
Don Jazzy, however, was quick to respond to this stereotype. He disclosed in a recent post that he had never withheld his artistes proportion from them.
According to “The Don”, he has been in the business for seven years with over 35 employees yet he remains committed to their salaries.
He boasted that he was one of the few “serious company” owners who could boldly come out to make such a disclosure.
