Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Asogwa, has said that her celebrity status makes her feel caged and rebellious.
The reality show star said this during a Question and Answer session with her fans on her Instagram stories. “Caged, rebellious but strong-willed as I love my freedom and peace and I will protect it by doing me the right way,” she responded when asked how she feels being a celebrity.
Alex did not speak about what exactly it was about her stardom that made her feel caged. However, one can guess that it has to do with the scrutiny of being in the public eye.
Alex is one of the most successful BBNaija alums from the Double Wahala season. But unfortunately, last year the model and reality TV star shared her struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts; after which she made a “vow to protect her happiness”.
