Regina Askia, a former Nollywood star, has recounted how she narrowly escaped terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York.
During her appearance on Media Personality, Funmi Iyanda’s Public Eye show, which was done on Instagram live, Askia who’s now a family nurse said she was on her way to work on September 11, 2001, when the incident happened.
“I was not at the building, I was on my way to work when we saw on TV that my office had exploded,” Askia said. “I was late for work and because of that I didn’t go in.”
