NIGERIAN dancer, Love Divine popularly known as Kodak has died from electrocution, which she suffered at the Lagos home of music director Clarence Peters.
At the time of filing this report, there was no confirmation as to the actual cause of her untimely death; neither by her family nor management. But, the young dancer allegedly died while charging her phone at Peters’ house in Omole area of the state on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
A reliable source revealed that the talented dancer was not at Peters’ house for a full video shoot. According to some industry sources, she was in the director’s house for one of the shots and in-between takes. While the shoot was going on, she apparently took a break to plug her phone for charging; during which the outlet electrocuted her.
Doctors confirmed Kodak’s death after crew members on the site rushed her to a hospital for treatment.
The deceased dancer was however famous in the entertainment industry for working closely with the ace music video director. Their working relationship earned her feature in videos for musicians like Burna Boy, Tekno, Davido, Olamide, and more.
