Here’s Why A Yemi Alade x Tiwa Savage Collaboration May Never Happen

Few days ago, Tiwa Savage took to her I.G story to praise Yemi Alade on her newly released album, calling her a Queen indeed and Yemi in turn reposted the kind gesture.

This act by the duo raised the hopes of most fans who saw a collaboration in view.

Well, if you’ve been looking forward to a joint work between “Mama Africa” and “Queen T”, Yemi Alade has just burst your bubbles.

In an interview with Ndani TV on Friday, Yemi addressed the supposed war between herself and Tiwa as speculated by Nigerians.

According to the “Johnny” Crooner, even though she and her colleague are on good terms, a collaboration is not likely to happen as she is not sure what it would encourage among fans.

Yemi lamented over the fact that there is a constant comparison between herself and Tiwa, making it look as if they are at war.

Well, fans couldn’t be so sure, considering their lack of public show of love.

She went on to explain that women are the problem of female celebrities, as the comparison is usually done by females who pose problems to them.

Responding to the collaboration question between the duo, Yemi had this to say:

I don’t know how to answer this question“It’s unfortunate that with the troubles that people keep steering in our ways, it probably will never allow us to ever have a collaboration, because you’re not sure the outcome would even be positive or be over run by negative things and all the fights. When we do music, we do it so people can be happy, so when we do a song together, what are we fueling? What are we encouraging? That’s the most important question”.

Just two days before Yemi’s interview, Tiwa Savage praised her colleague on her newly released ‘body of work’, “Woman of Steel”. Responding to the praise from Tiwa, Yemi took to her I.G handle to repost the shout-out.
