Here are five Horror movies to watch on Netflix right now

Netflix

There’s never a right time to watch a Horror movie, just pop one in and grab your popcorn.

Allow me to paint you a picture, it’s been raining and it’s a cold evening. There’s not a lot better to do than fire up Netflix and dive into a couple of scary stories.

Now, you can’t seem to find the right horror movie for the evening, that’s where I come in. I’ve gone through the streaming platform to pick out the best of the genre for you so you don’t have to do it yourself. You’re welcome.

For the month of June, here’s my pick of the best horror movies on Netflix

The Conjuring

If you’re into Haunted houses, it doesn’t get much better than 2013’s The Conjuring by director James Wan. The story follows a family plagued by ghostly and demonic forces in their new home and stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, instantly lovable paranormal hunters who face one of the most terrifying cases of their life.

The Conjuring

The movie is also the inaugural film in the Conjuring Universe franchise.

The Conjuring 2

The Warrens are back in the 2016 sequel as they investigate one of their most infamous cases, known as the Einfeld poltergeist. So brace yourself.

Conjuring 2
Creep

This 2014 film stars director and co-writer Patrick Brice and is shot like found footage the entire time. Brice plays a videographer who travels to a remote cabin and is hired by an eccentric client named Josef (played by co-writer and producer Mark Duplass). Trust me, you want to see this one.

Creep

Also, there’s a sequel as well on Netflix. In Creep 2, Duplass continues his amazing performance as Josef being even more intriguing and unpredictable.

Unfriended

When this was released in 2014, it was called a computer screen film with a filmmaking approach dubbed Screenlife. The entirety of the film presented from the perspective of computer, tablet, and smartphone screens. After a classmate commits suicide due to bullying, a group of teens finds their skype hangout haunted by an inescapable, malicious spirit.

Unfriended
The Blackcoat’s Daughter

This one is probably my favorite pick of the lot. The Blackcoat’s Daughter demands patience but it’s absolutely worth it. Nothing is as it seems, and trying to solve the terrifying puzzle just adds to the horrifying experience.

These are my five picks of horror movies you should definitely go see on Netflix right now.
