AMERICAN singer and songwriter, Katy Perry has admitted that she’s struggling with waves of depression as the world continues to battle the novel coronavirus.
Opening up on her mental health struggles, the heavily pregnant singer who’s expecting her first child with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, said she was unsure which feeling is harder to deal with -the depression that comes with being an expectant mother or the efforts of trying to avoid being infected with the disease.
“Sometimes I don’t know what’s worse trying to avoid the virus or the waves of depression that come with this new norm,” the 35-year-old pop star tweeted.
The mum-to-be was however inundated with an outpouring of support from her concerned fans, who urged her to remain strong amid the uncertain times.
“We love you so much. We’re together in this,” a fan account tweeted to her.
“OMG PLS STAY POSITIVE WE ARE HERE FOR YOU,” another fan wrote.
“your music is the only thing getting me through it,” wrote another supporter, along with a flower emoji.
Just like Perry’s fans, we all at eelive.ng are throwing our weights behind the Teenage Dream hitmaker during this torrid period.
