American singer, Gwen Stefani and country crooner, Blake Shelton have announced they are engaged after dating for five years.
The love birds took to their individual social media pages to break the good news. In the picture they shared, the couple could be seen sharing a passionate kiss with Stefani flaunting her ring.
“@blakeshelton yes please! gx,” she captioned the photo with a ring emoji.
On his part, Shelton expressed his excitement at having the singer as his wife. “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.” he wrote. “I love you. I heard a YES!”
The announcement comes after the couple won a CMT Music Award for their Nobody But You collaboration. They had spent the lockdown with Stefani‘s three children at a ranch in Oklahoma.

Gwen Stefani shares three children, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, six with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. The pair divorced in 2016 after 14 years of marriage.
Shelton has been married twice. He was married to Miranda Lambert in 2011, the pair split in 2015. He was also married to Kaynette Williams in 2003, they split after three years of marriage.
