Reality TV show, Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS), will return to television screen in October.
The survival reality TV show, prominent in the early 2000s, will return after seven years hiatus.
Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc. officially announced that the show would make its comeback and this year’s theme is “The Age of Craftsmanship”.
Sade Morgan, the Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said, “We are really excited to be bringing back the Gulder Ultimate Search for the viewing pleasure of Nigerians who have over the years continued to call for the return of the show.
“The planning team has put in place everything necessary to give the fans exactly what they enjoy about the show, and I am confident that everyone will be pleasantly surprised and delighted with what we have in store.”
According to the organisers, interested participants have to be Nigerians between 21-35 years old. Also, applications should be submitted to www.gulderultimatesearch.ng between September 1, 2021, and September 8, 2021.
The first screening session starts September 13 in Abuja and Enugu. However, the second screening session will take place in Lagos on September 16.
The TV premiere of ‘Gulder Ultimate Search: The Age of Craftsmanship’ will then begin on October 16, 2021. It will run till December 19, when the grand finale will hold.
Also, past winners of the show making waves in the entertainment industry include; Kunle Remi, winner of the 2010 edition; Dennis Okike winner of the season 8edition; and Chris Okagbue, winner of season 10.
The show will air on DStv and other local stations across the country.
