Episode 4 focused mainly on the fallout of the great battle in Episode 3. After a funeral ceremony, the living in Winterfell had a big celebration, with Daenerys proclaiming Gendry as Lord Gendry Baratheon, the new Lord of Storm’s End among other things including Jaime and Brienne’s rather expected hookup.
There were some notable developments towards the show’s tail-end involving one of the remaining dragons, Rhaegal, and Missandei. Bronn and the crossbow Qyburn gave him also showed up, although Jaime and Tyrion didn’t bear its brunt yet.
The Hound left Winterfell somewhat accompanied by Arya to head south on unfinished business that we can only hope will take the form of poetic justice. Varys and Tyrion also had a secret important conversation about making a choice between Dany and Jon, which only came after Jon shared his big secret with Arya and Sansa. Guess who spilled the tea? Yes, it was Sansa.
