The 2020 Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards had a great comeback after about a two-year hiatus — with the last one held in 2017.
Nigerian music stars, Burna Boy and Wizkid were among the biggest winners of the night. While the former won the Best International Act award, the latter snagged the Best African Act award.
Nines, an English rapper and songwriter, who received five nominations in different categories this year took home the prestigious Album of The Year for Crabs In A Bucket and was also crowned Best Hip Hop Act tonight.
Headie One snagged Best Male Act and Mahalia scooped up Best Female Act and Best R&B/Soul Act.
Davido, who took home Best African Act in 2017, gave a stellar performance with The Best and FEM from his latest album A Better Time. Tiwa Savage also performed her hit songs Koroba and Dangerous Love.
