Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, clinched two awards at the 2022 MOBO Awards ceremony.
The ceremony, which held in OVO Arena in Wembley, London, saw Burna Boy won the International act and Best African Music Act categories.
For the International Act category, Burna Boy defeated superstars such as Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Drake, Kendrick Lamar.Jack Harlow, Skillibeng, Summer Walker, Jasmine Suleiman and Tems.
In the Best African Music Act Category, he defeated Adekunle Gold, Asake, Fireboy DML, Omah Lay, Oxlade, Pheelz, Rema, Tems, as well as South Africa’s Kabza De Small.
The MOBO Awards is designed to recognise and award Music of Black Origins in UK and beyond.
