Filmhouse Promises to Rebuild after Hoodlums Vandalise its Cinemas

Film exhibition company, Filmhouse has promised to rebuild its cinemas which were vandalised by suspected hoodlums in Lagos.

In a statement made available to members of the public, Filmhouse disclosed that its cinemas at Circle Mall and Surulere area of the state, were seriously vandalised.

“These past few days have been tough, more for some than others. Our circle mall and Surulere cinemas have been vandalised but Nigerians have lost more than we can imagine,” a statement from the company read.

Sadly, Filmhouse is one of the many businesses that were vandalised and looted by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS peaceful protest in Lagos.

As reported on eelive.ng, Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu estimated that no less than N100 million worth of goods were looted from her shop at Marwa, Lekki area of the state.

According to the movie star, not only did the hoodlums made away with her goods, but they also attacked the security guard at the shop and left him with life-threatening injuries.
