Femi Odugbemi’s “Brethren” To Premiere on Africa Magic

Just a few months after the end of “Battleground”, Ace Nigerian Filmmaker, Femi Odugbemi, is set to premiere another TV series, “Brethren”, on Africa Magic, come Monday October 7.

Reactions from the recent release of the trailer is proof that the TV series is set to keep viewers glued to their screen as it portrays a unique and dynamic storyline in relevance to recent societal happenings.

The trailer reveals a search for a kidnapped child by the authorities which perhaps led to a bloody battle with a cult group.

‘Brethren’, which is produced by his company Zuri24 Media, features a unique blend of family drama, Crime, and fast-paced action having its location at the heart of Lagos.

According to Odugbemi, the film has a cast of both fresh faces and top actors in the industry.

“The cast is a mix of exciting new faces and strong dynamic performers who are the top contemporary performers in our industry,” he said.

“That’s always been our way. Giving opportunity to young and emerging actors is critical to keeping our storytelling fresh and value-driven for our audiences. I believe in our young talents. In front and behind the camera. So my platforms are naturally places of opportunity for me to empower them,” he added.

About 260 episodes is slated for this season, starting Monday while viewers can catch an omnibus on Sundays.
