Fatherhood changed my life completely- Samuel Ajibola

Nigerian actor, Samuel Ajibola, says being a father has completely changed his life.

The actor, who welcomed his first child two months ago, stated this on Wednesday through his Instagram page.

Sharing a video of himself and his child, he captioned “My Life has completely changed since I had my first kid. I mean, is this what parents go through? I now partake in daily night vigils and sleep with him during the day so I can run my shift with him at night.

“Before you get him to sleep, you’ll carry him till your arms are weak. You’ll sing, stand, dance and even pray for his eyes to close but the moment you are convinced that he has started sleeping and you try to lay him down so you can rest, boom! his eyes are wide open and he is crying all over again!!

“I have now come to appreciate all parents more and give special kudos to those who have twins. #diaryofanewdad.”

Ajibola started his acting career as a 6-year-old kid in 1995 with the film ‘Tears for Love’. He also had roles in Without LoveShameEye-witnessOnome IIConspiracyStreet Kids, and Day of Reckoning.

At the now-defunct Rhema Awards in 1996, he won the award for Best Kid Actor for his role in Eye-Witness. In 1997 and 1998, he also won the Best Kid Actor at the Reel Awards for Onome II and Day of Reckoning, respectively.
